There’s just something about visiting a west coast beach, the rough rocks, black sand & incredible golden sunsets…

Corey + Briar spent the whole day chilling together & making it an all day activity – we met out at the beautiful west coast beach, Muriwai, later in the afternoon to soak up all that evening light. I had so much fun with these two, they definitely took on board my feeling of letting down their walls, forgetting everything around them, generally not holding back & also embraced the goofy moments too which are so awesome to document. It’s always nice to shoot an e-session before the big day just to see how a couple work in front of the camera, relax into it, forget I’m even there half the time, be in the moment and also hopefully walk away with some tips and confidence for the big day.

Needless to say they rocked the session, embraced the laughter, along with some bird poop & a couple of random large waves that came their way! I’m so excited for their big day next year and being a part of it.
